Roles and Responsibilities

Respond promptly to legal requests from law enforcement agencies under Section 94 BNSS/91 CrPC, coordinating internally and ensuring accurate submissions.

Collect, review, and validate data in response to legal notices, ensuring compliance and delivery within a 12-hour window.

Support the litigation team by preparing case briefs, reviewing documents, drafting legal responses, and conducting legal research on relevant matters.

Maintain daily trackers to monitor incoming legal notices and outgoing responses, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

Establish and manage communication with police authorities, providing timely updates on submissions and compliance status.

Identify and onboard appropriate external legal counsel based on case needs, particularly in tier II and III cities, and manage associated documentation.

Handle the complete lifecycle of legal invoice processing in coordination with the finance department, ensuring timely payments.

Keep accurate records of legal expenses and retainer agreements for auditing and reporting purposes.

Attend court hearings when required, assisting in documentation and evidence management.

Oversee litigation-related documentation and manage courier dispatches efficiently.
Ideal Candidate Profile
-
0–2 years of experience as a Legal Executive or Para-legal in a high-paced organisation. Exposure to court and quasi-judicial proceedings is essential.

Ability to independently manage external counsel, particularly in remote or regional areas.

Proven experience working across departments within a matrixed organisation, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, especially in tracking compliance and maintaining legal records.
