
About the Organiser:
The Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy Studies (CIBS) at NALSAR University of Law organizes the CIRP Simulation Competition as part of the NALSAR Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws (NCIBL) initiative. The centre focuses on research, policy discussions, and academic engagement relating to insolvency and bankruptcy law in India, particularly under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
About the Event:
The CIRP Simulation Competition 2026 is designed to provide law students with practical exposure to the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. The competition simulates real insolvency proceedings where participants take on roles such as Resolution Professional and Resolution Applicant, allowing them to experience the procedural and strategic aspects of insolvency resolution.

Dates: 11–12 April 2026
Venue: NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad
Team Composition:
Each team must consist of two members, who will assume the roles of:
Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) / Resolution Professional (RP)
Resolution Applicant (RA)
Awards:
Participants will receive recognition, certificates, and awards based on performance in the competition rounds.

Registration Fees:
Early Bird: ₹4,000 per team (on or before 25 March 2026)
Regular: ₹5,000 per team

Participants must register through the official registration form and complete the payment of the registration fee. Registration is confirmed once the form is submitted and payment is successfully processed.
