Cummins Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our legal and compliance team. Key Responsibilities

Conduct research, compile statistical reports, and respond to routine and complex data requests

Accurately input and manage information across databases, spreadsheets, and reports

Manage data collection, entry, and generate department-specific reports

Draft correspondence, arrange meetings and conference calls, and receive visitors

Respond to internal and external inquiries about department functions and activities
-
Prepare vendor and third-party payment documentation; coordinate with accounts payable

Maintain up-to-date documentation of departmental policies and processes
-
Contribute to departmental improvement initiatives and special projects

Provide informal guidance to less experienced team members as needed

Required Skills & Tasks

Track, resolve, and document compliance mapping queries with third-party vendors

Periodically consolidate compliance data for board and forum reviews

Perform parity checks and support mapping of compliance tasks

Assist in license dashboard implementation and system tool upgrades

Prepare monthly MIS reports, presentations, and business analyses

Address and resolve user issues related to the compliance management tool

Assist in rolling out compliance systems for new business entities

Conduct legal research and interpret regulatory requirements

Take on additional tasks as assigned by the department
Educational Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant experience may substitute as per regulations
-
Any certifications or qualifications related to legal, compliance, or administration are a plus

Prior experience in administrative roles involving compliance, legal support, or data management

Demonstrated ability to manage complex documentation and communicate effectively across teams
