Position Overview
The Summer Internship at the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law is a 9-week intensive programme that offers interdisciplinary exposure to issues at the intersection of national security, ethics, and the rule of law. Interns engage in high-level research, contribute to policy-oriented and academic writing, and assist in institutional initiatives such as conferences and publications, while working closely with scholars, practitioners, and policymakers in a collaborative environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Duration:
1 June – 31 July 2026 (9 Weeks) (CERL)
Education:
- Law students (JD/LL.M.)
- Graduate students (Philosophy, Political Science, International Relations, etc.)
- In some cases, advanced undergraduate students (CERL)
Traits:
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Interest in national security and rule of law
- Academic writing and critical thinking ability
Commitment:
- Full participation in the 9-week program
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on ethics and rule of law issues
