Eligibility
This internship is specifically designed for final-year law students who are keen on gaining long-term, in-depth exposure to the workings of a law firm. The program runs for a minimum of 4 to 6 months and requires students to commit to an in-office internship in New Delhi. Given the structure and duration of the program, the opportunity is best suited for individuals who can dedicate consistent time and effort over several months. Since the number of available seats is limited to only three, applicants should be proactive, disciplined, and committed to making the most of this opportunity. A demonstrated interest in litigation, drafting, and research will be an added advantage.
Role
Interns at Naks Legal will have the chance to actively participate in the daily functioning of the firm. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents and correspondence, assisting senior lawyers in court proceedings and case management, and preparing legal research, briefs, and memos. The role is designed to give interns hands-on exposure to litigation practice, courtroom dynamics, and client-related processes. By working directly with experienced legal professionals, interns will learn the nuances of legal drafting, case preparation, and professional communication. This experience provides a valuable foundation for final-year law students who are preparing to transition from academics to full-time legal practice.
