The organisation manages legal and recovery processes related to secured lending and property-backed financing across multiple jurisdictions in India.
Position Overview:
The organisation is inviting applications for the position of Manager – Legal to join its legal team handling matters related to Home Loans (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP).
The role involves managing recovery and enforcement proceedings, particularly under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI Act) and other related legal processes across PAN India.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Drafting and implementation of SARFAESI proceedings.
Handling matters under Section 13(2) and Section 13(4) of the SARFAESI Act.
Managing proceedings under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, particularly Section 138 cases.
Handling physical possession of secured properties in recovery matters.
Managing legal recovery procedures and maintaining related documentation.
Coordinating legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Eligibility:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in legal work relating to Home Loans (HL) / Loan Against Property (LAP).
Strong experience in legal drafting and recovery proceedings.
Practical exposure to SARFAESI enforcement and property possession processes.
Ability to manage legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
