About the Role

We are actively looking to expand our dynamic team by hiring a legal professional with a keen interest in workplace policy, equity, and inclusion. The role is ideal for someone who brings not only a strong academic background in law but also a passion for building inclusive workspaces across sectors. This full-time position focuses on high-impact advisory services that intersect law, policy, and social reform. You will be involved in concept-building, research, report writing, policy drafting, and client communication. The role demands independence, creativity, and a deep understanding of the social realities surrounding discrimination and inclusion in Indian workplaces.

Required Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess a Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) and have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Familiarity with Indian labour laws and corporate law is a must. Candidates should demonstrate a strong legal foundation coupled with a genuine interest in social justice and workplace equality. Previous experience in advisory roles or policy-related positions will be considered an added advantage. We value individuals who can think critically, work independently, and take ownership of their deliverables in a high-responsibility environment. Commitment to timelines, ethical work practices, and client confidentiality are non-negotiable.

Key Skills and Attributes

Ideal candidates must possess excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to apply lateral thinking to complex workplace issues. Strong communication abilities—both written and verbal—are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with clients and drafting policy documentation. A sound understanding of the legal and institutional barriers that hinder inclusion in the workplace is also crucial. Candidates should be adept at managing content creation, concept development, and report writing with precision. Attention to detail, creativity in framing practical solutions, and a high level of professionalism and integrity are key to succeeding in this role.

How to Apply?

To apply for this opportunity, interested candidates must email their CV and a writing sample to info@samanacentre.com.
