Role: Applied Legal Research Intern (ALR Intern)
Duration: 3 to 6 months | Full-time, In-Person Preferred | Start Date: June 10, 2025
Stipend: Up to 20k INR with potential for a pre-placement offer (PPO)
Who Should Apply: 3rd to 5th year law students, LLM candidates, or law PhDs
Location: On-site (with flexibility for exams)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conducting innovative legal research
  • Contributing to the design and refinement of AI workflows
  • Drafting legal benchmarks and scenarios for model evaluation
  • Working with compliance, contract, and litigation data

What You’ll Learn:

  • How large language models (LLMs) are trained for the legal sector
  • Key skills in prompt engineering, annotation, and legal QA
  • Real-world legal-tech product development in a dynamic startup setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Excel, Python, SQL, or prior experience in legal-tech or policy writing is a plus
