About the Role

The firm is inviting applications for a full-time, on-site Junior Associate role based in Chennai. As a Junior Associate, you will be engaged in all critical stages of legal practice—from drafting and client interactions to court appearances and compliance tasks. This position involves assisting senior attorneys in preparing case files, conducting in-depth legal research, and managing documentation for litigation and corporate matters. It’s a dynamic role that provides direct exposure to live cases and real-time learning, making it ideal for someone passionate about building a serious career in litigation and corporate law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, petitions, and legal notices

  • Attend court hearings and offer litigation support under the supervision of senior advocates

  • Conduct legal research across multiple branches of law including insolvency, restructuring, arbitration, and IP laws

  • Participate in client consultations, helping to prepare case briefs and legal opinions

  • Ensure strict compliance with court and regulatory procedures

  • Collaborate with the legal team to manage internal documentation and maintain workflow efficiency

This is a hands-on position with significant exposure to varied legal issues and direct client interactions, fostering real-world expertise.

Eligibility and Qualifications

To be considered for the Junior Associate role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) or an equivalent legal qualification

  • Be enrolled with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and eligible to practice law

  • Demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills

  • Have prior experience or training in drafting legal documents and pleadings

  • Be familiar with litigation workflows, restructuring laws, insolvency codes, and intellectual property law

  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Show initiative, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
