Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time, In person
- Pay: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in law firm/legal practice. Listing also says 4 years required
Key Responsibilities
Legal Drafting & Documentation
- Draft, review, vet commercial contracts, agreements
- Prepare legal notices, LOI, MOU, lease agreements, sale agreements, leave & license, conveyance deeds
- Draft/review documents for litigation and non-litigation matters, commercial transactions
Litigation & Dispute Management
- Monitor and manage ongoing litigation, coordinate with external counsel
- Handle/tack cases in City Civil Court, Sessions Court, High Court, Revenue Authorities, Charity Commissioner
- Ensure compliance with court orders, filings, case updates
Real Estate Legal Due Diligence
- Conduct legal DD of land for acquisition, development, redevelopment, JV projects
- Review title documents, property records, approvals, regulatory compliance
- Finalize documentation for land acquisition, redevelopment, JV agreements
- Land/redevelopment society title DD and title certificates
- Revenue documents with respect to land
Compliance & Legal Advisory
- Draft/update Lease and Leave & License Agreements per prevailing laws
- Develop legal policies, procedures, documentation frameworks
- Legal research and advise on transaction implications
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: LLB / LLM from recognized university. Bachelor’s preferred
- Bar Enrollment: Must be enrolled with Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa
- Experience: 5+ years in law firm or legal practice. 4 years work exp required
- Preferred: Prior experience in real estate law and with real estate developers
- Skills: Strong expertise in litigation, documentation, land DD. Excellent verbal/written communication
- Languages: Proficiency in drafting legal documents in English and Marathi
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and take ownership
