ABOUT LAW COMMISSION OF INDIA
The Law Commission of India is a specialized executive body formed by the Government of India. Its primary role is to conduct research and provide recommendations on legal reforms. Comprising experienced legal professionals and chaired by a retired judge, the Commission functions as an advisory unit under the Ministry of Law and Justice for a specified term.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Law Commission, operating under the Ministry of Law and Justice, is inviting applications from qualified legal professionals to join as Legal Consultants on a contractual basis. Selected individuals will support the Commission’s legislative research and documentation efforts as part of its reform agenda.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Bachelor’s degree in Law – LL.B., B.A. LL.B., or B.Sc. LL.B. from a recognized institution

Strong legal research and drafting skills in English

Proficiency in document creation, PowerPoint presentations, and data management
REMUNERATION
₹60,000 per month (fixed and consolidated)
