ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP – ONLINE, MAY 2025
NHRC is inviting applications for its “Online Short Term Internship Programme – May 2025.”
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applications are open to students across India who meet the following conditions:

Students in the 3rd year or beyond of a 5-year integrated postgraduate course
-
Final/3rd-year students of an undergraduate course
-
Students at any stage of a postgraduate degree or postgraduate diploma course
-
Registered research scholars from any academic stream
Additional requirements:

Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in Class XII and all subsequent academic qualifications, including the current course
-
Percentage must be calculated and clearly stated from CGPA/SGPA with the formula used
-
The applicant should not be over 28 years of age as of April 1, 2025
INTERNSHIP DURATION
STIPEND AND AWARD

A stipend of ₹2,000 will be provided upon successful completion

Certificate of participation will be granted based on:

Mandatory attendance, punctuality, discipline, and active participation

Timely submission of project presentation, project report, and book review

Statement of Purpose (SoP): A 250-word write-up titled “Statement of Purpose for joining NHRC Online Short Term Internship” (used for selection)

Recommendation Letter: Scanned copy of a recommendation in the prescribed format from HOD/Dean/Principal
