This internship is designed for law students in their final year or recent graduates who wish to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in drafting legal documents, agreements, and contracts, along with proficiency in legal research and analysis. An understanding of corporate law, the Indian Contract Act, intellectual property rights, and labor laws will be considered essential. Prior exposure to case preparation and document management is desirable, but not mandatory. The ideal intern will be self-motivated, capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent written as well as verbal communication skills. The firm particularly encourages applications from students who are genuinely interested in pursuing a career in litigation or commercial law.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Legal Intern at CLF, candidates will be given the opportunity to work closely with experienced advocates and contribute meaningfully to ongoing cases and projects. The role will involve drafting contracts, agreements, and legal notices, conducting in-depth legal research, and assisting in the preparation of case briefs. Interns will also support the team in document management, case preparation, and client coordination, ensuring that they gain exposure to the practical aspects of legal practice. Beyond litigation support, interns may also engage in non-litigation advisory work, including reviewing commercial contracts and analyzing corporate compliance issues. This role provides a holistic training ground where students can learn courtroom strategies, drafting precision, and client management skills, all of which are essential for building a successful legal career.

How to Apply

The internship is structured as an on-site opportunity, offering students a chance to experience the real workings of a law firm in a professional environment. Interested candidates who meet the qualifications and are serious about gaining practical legal experience should send their updated CVs to sumanjhasourav@gmail.com. The recruitment process is selective, ensuring that only committed and motivated candidates are chosen for this program. By joining CLF, interns will not only enhance their academic learning but also develop hands-on skills that will serve as a strong foundation for their professional journey.
