Roles and Responsibilities

Dispute Resolution Team
Members of the Dispute Resolution Team will be responsible for representing clients before various Courts and Tribunals, conducting in-depth legal research, and drafting pleadings, petitions, and applications. This role involves active courtroom exposure and strategic legal planning, making it ideal for those who thrive in a litigation setting. Candidates will be required to prepare arguments, analyze case precedents, and assist senior advocates in managing ongoing matters effectively.

Corporate and Advisory Team
Those joining the Corporate and Advisory vertical will be involved in providing legal advice on corporate transactions, drafting and reviewing contracts, and negotiating legal agreements. This role includes working on due diligence assignments, compliance reviews, and transaction structuring. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law, regulatory requirements, and client advisory skills, with a problem-solving mindset.

Research and Drafting Team
This team focuses on the core legal research that forms the foundation of the firm’s litigation and advisory practices. The role includes analyzing statutes and judicial precedents, preparing comprehensive research notes, and drafting pleadings. Internally, team members also brief senior lawyers and partners to support their court arguments and client consultations. Strong legal writing skills and analytical thinking are key to excelling in this role.

Eligibility Criteria

Lex Credence is hiring across experience levels, and applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Freshers: 0 to 1 year of experience

  • Junior Associate / Associate: 1 to 3 years of experience

  • Experienced Professionals: 3 to 10 years of experience

Additional Requirements:

  • A minimum commitment of 2 years is required

  • Proficiency in English, Marathi, and Hindi (reading, writing, and speaking)

  • Strong analytical and research skills
